4th of July Fireworks around the county

It wouldn't be the 4th of July without fireworks, and Madison County knows how to celebrate in a big way. The towns of Greenville and Madison are pulling out the stops and putting on a show for residents to enjoy on this patriotic weekend. Greenville The Spirit of Greenville Committee is hosting fireworks once again this year on July 4th. The fireworks will be shot off over the pond in Haffye Hays Park and will begin once it is dark. Be sure to get there early to get a good spot. Madison The Madison Lions Club will have their annual Fourth of July God and Country Celebration at Lake Frances. There will be a Freedom 5K and Fun Run at 8 a.m. at Four Freedoms Trail. Entertainment and vendors will start at 3 p.m. and the fireworks will begin once it is dark. Lee Lee Volunteer Fire Department will not be hosting their fireworks show this year. Happy 4th of July!
