The 55-Plus Club kicked off a new season of monthly luncheon meetings on Wednesday, Sept. 11, with a program provided by Madison County Sheriff David Harper and members of the K-9 team from the Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO). The program also included demonstrations of the skills of the dogs and their handlers.
The 55 Plus Club meets on the second Wednesday of each month, from September through April, at the United Methodist Center, located approximately five miles north of Madison, on Highway 145 (Colin Kelly Hwy.). The luncheon meetings are free of charge and open to any Madison County resident, 55 years of age or older. The luncheon begins at noon, followed by a different program each month.
