55 Plus Club meeting set for May 13

The last 55 Plus Club meeting until September will be on Wednesday, May 13 and the program for the month is the Barn Quilts of Madison County. The speakers for the program are Janet Moses and Sandy Wilson. They will share about their work with the Barn Quilts of Madison County and the Florida Quilt Trail. The Barn Quilts represent the unique history, culture and heritage of towns throughout rural Florida. The 55 Plus Club is open to all Madison County residents who are 55 years old and older. All faiths and races are welcome, and no reservations are necessary. There are no fees of any kind, just come and enjoy a good lunch, fellowship and a fun program. Greenville United Methodist Church is the host for the May program. Lunch will be served at 12 p.m. with the program following. The 55 Plus Club meets the second Wednesday every month, from September through May at the United Methodist Center located on Highway 145, about five miles north of Madison.
