What a precious sight – little girls standing atop their daddy’s feet to dance.
On Saturday, Feb. 4, Aucilla Christian Academy (ACA) held their traditional Father-Daughter Dance. Highlighting a masquerade theme, a table was set up at the entrance for the fathers and daughters to pick out colorful masks. Wearing his signature light blue tuxedo, ACA Athletic Director Willy Gamalero was DJ for the night with a hoppin’ good playlist that kept the dance party busy with activities.
It looked as though the dance produced larger attendance this year compared to the last, and the dance floor was crowded with loving daddies and their precious daughters. Some little girls held tight to their daddy's hands during the entirety of the dance while others joined hands with friends and danced the night away.
A beautiful photo booth area with twinkle lights and greenery was set up for picture time and memory keepsakes. The line seemed endless, as attendees kept rejoining the line as they thought of more fun poses to do.
It took a tribe of ACA employees, parents and volunteers to put this annual event together, and it turned out to be another successful year of dancing and fun.
The little girls happily went home at the end of the evening with memories of enjoying a masquerade dance with daddy.
