Timmy Dyke and others continue the many ramp-building projects that are sponsored by Ability 1st. Ramps continue to go up in Madison and Jefferson Counties. The waiting list in Madison is now down to eight homes, with 10 being completed since July.
Jefferson County now has 14 homes on a waiting list for ramps. Presently, Timmy Dyke and his crew are getting ready for a ramp construction to benefit a disabled veteran who lives in Jefferson County. The approximate cost for this ramp will be $2,000. Sponsors and builders are needed for this and future projects. All interested churches or organizations are invited to partner with Ability 1st to continue the rapid progress the teams are making in supplying these needed ramps for those who can no longer safely use steps to access their homes.
