Aucilla Christian Academy held their first volleyball game Tuesday, August 25. Junior Varsity began their game at 6 p.m. at FAMU High. Although the 12 girls on the roster had never played volleyball together before this game, their teamwork and effort became instantaneous. JV won against FAMU in two straight sets, 25-22 and 25-12. Leading server of the game was Ashlyn Rogers and the Captain was Kayla Burns. “I couldn't be prouder of this group of young ladies,” said Head Coach Cathy Rogers. The JV girls competed against Madison County Central on Thursday, August 27 at 5 p.m. The JV Girls lost in two straight matches, 25-15 and 25-18. Olivia Walton and Ashlyn Rogers led the team in serves.
