Nationally recognized recording artist Troy Sneed will be appearing at Allen Chapel AME Church as part of their Youth Revival Concert, on Sunday, Mar. 19, at 4 p.m. Rev. DeMarrio Bryant of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Perry, Fl. will be speaking. Sneed, who is originally from Perry, released his first album, Call Jesus, in 1999.

Since then he has released seven more albums. Sneed's 2010 hit My Heart Says Yes reached number two on Billboard Magazine's Gospel Music Charts. Sneed also appeared in the 1996 film The Preacher's Wife with Denzel Washington and Whitney Houston. Allen Chapel AME Church is located at 1694 SW Grand St., in Greenville.
