Mrs. Alma Kay Vann, age 63, died Thursday, June 8, at her son’s home in Perry, Fl. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 17, at Beggs Funeral Home, Perry Chapel. She was born in Charleston, WV. She resided in Perry since moving from New Jersey in 1976. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Mrs. Vann was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip J. Vann; her parents, Charles Edward and Jeanette Louise Wiley Harmon; and by her sister, Sherry Lynn Sadler. She is survived by one son, Bruce Sherwood, of Perry; three daughters, Rebecca McIntosh, of Perry, Christina Patterson, of Perry; and Geneva Gaskin, of Mayo; three brothers, William Ed Harmon, Terry Wayne Harmon, and Ricky Scott Harmon, all of Perry.
