It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Anita Burnett, who left us on Friday, Oct. 4, 2024, in Greenville, Fla., at the age of 90. Born in Sirmans, Fla., on Aug. 7, 1934, she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, cherished by all who knew her. On warm summer days when her grandkids were growing up, Anita could often be found in her backyard, lounging by the pool or swimming, maintaining a tan that made us all jealous.
