Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. event held

Rick Patrick  rick@greenepublishing.com On Monday, Jan. 20, the Madison County Chapter of the Charmettes, Inc. held their annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday observance in the Madison County Courthouse. The event was marked by several speakers who talked about the legacy of the famed civil rights leader. There were also musical numbers and a performance by the Dynamic Elite Dance Group, from Madison. The keynote address was presented by the Rev. Carlos Presley, Pastor of Shiloh
