The National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF) Chapter of Madison County is proudly announcing their 16th annual Hunting Heritage NWTF Banquet, taking place on Saturday, March 3, at Madison County Central School.
Once a year, the NWTF of Madison County hosts a heritage banquet in support of Wild Turkey Conservation and important programs that introduce outdoor activities to women, children and the disabled. At the banquet, you can enjoy raffle games, door prizes, and live and silent auctions, with items including a deer grunt call donated by Gene Liford of Liford Custom Calls.
Should there be any NWTF state officers present, there will be a presentation, as well as a recognition of all active duty, reserved and/or retired military service men and women. During the banquet, a seafood buffet will be served with entrees such as shrimp, oysters, scallops and three types of fried fish, with sides.
Membership tickets include the seafood dinner, as well as membership into the NWTF. Also included is a one year subscription to Turkey Country Magazine. Membership levels vary from Jakes to Sponsor Couple. To purchase your ticket, log on to events.nwtf.org.
The doors to the banquet will open at 5 p.m. For more information, you may call Shannon Webb at (850) 464-1711. MCCS is located at 2093 W. US Hwy. 90, in Madison.
