Mr. Ansel W. Albritton, 72, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2021 in Tallahassee, Fla. He was born on Nov. 28, 1948 in Madison, Fla. to Wallace W. Albritton and Dorothy Hale Albritton.
Ansel was raised in Lee, Fla. and graduated from Madison High School in 1967. After graduation, he joined the United States Army where he proudly served his country for two years during the Vietnam War. He graduated from North Florida Jr. College receiving a degree in drafting, and was employed by Gulf Telephone Company in Perry, Fla. He also graduated from Barber School receiving his license. He loved his family and greatly enjoyed family life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace W. Albritton and Dorothy Albritton Kinard; his wife, Sharon Albritton; and one daughter, Valerie Albritton Bodiford.
He was survived by one daughter, Julie Albritton of Perry, Fla.; three brothers: Paul Albritton (Kathy) of Lee, Roger Kinard of Lee and Frankie Kinard (Vicki) of Dasher, Ga.; one sister, Cookie Kelley (Van) of Lee; and three grandchildren: Olivia, Justin and Steven Bodiford all of Perry.
Graveside services will be held at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery in Lee, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Beggs Funeral Home of Madison.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to The Gideons International or Point of Grace Christian Academy in Perry.
