Zion Church Road, in Havana. Public viewing and visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, Aug. 13, in the sanctuary of The Love Foundation Outreach Ministry, located at 118 E. 11th Ave. East, in Havana.
Having received his education from the Gadsden County School System, Miller chose employment with the food industry, notably at Golden Corral and Wahoo. He also worked with his step-grandfather in the sod business.
Miller was one who was full of life; therefore, he made it his personal mission to live life to the fullest. He was a people-person who enjoyed the conversations he had with others. He will be remembered for his famous three words he used to see if they were listening or focused on their conversation by frequently asking them, “You feel me?”
He had an enduring love for family and got together with them as much time as possible. He was especially proud of his son who is also his namesake.
Although he valued the time he spent with his family and friends, Miller realized something was missing in his life, a void that could only be filled by building a relationship with the Lord. For this reason, he made the choice to open his heart to confess Christ and receive Him as his personal Savior and to be brought into the (Christian) fold a month ago.
Forever loving and cherishing his precious memory are his parents, Delray Miller, Sr. of Bainbridge, Ga., and Angelee Harp of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; companion, Chambrea Fain of Havana, Fla.; son, Antavis Gartrell Miller, Jr. of Havana, Fla.; maternal grandmother, Thelma Lee Samuels of Ft.
