As summer starts winding down and school starts to pick back up, parents should be made aware of additional resources that are provided to help their children in school. The Madison County School Board has several websites available that help with a variety of skill-sets if the child needs it. There are reading, math and testing assets, along with educational games. There is even a website called, “Reading Rockets,” which has been placed at parents' disposal to get tips for both the child and guardian on reading and school, in general. Before school begins, be prepared to help your child and yourself by using the resources provided. To find these websites, visit madison.k12.fl.us/parent-and-family-resources.
