Mickey Starling: Greene Publishing, Inc.
A benefit yard-sale for Patrick Irvine will be held at the Pinetta Community Center on Saturday, Jan. 13, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Irvine fell sick approximately three weeks ago, suffering with vomiting and seizures before passing out and falling. The fall resulted in a broken neck for Irvine, who has not been able to return to his science teaching position at Hamilton County High School. Doctors continue to search for the cause of his illness. Irvine, 56, has been a teacher for about ten years, and is a resident of Pinetta.
Since the injury, medical bills have been mounting for Irvine and his wife, Christine Sullivan Irvine. Mrs. Irvine worked with Greene Publishing, Inc. during the 70's and 80's and is presently employed with North Florida Child Development. Donations are needed and appreciated for the yard-sale and can be delivered to the Pinetta Community Center on Saturday morning, prior to the sale. If you wish to donate items sooner, call Amanda Adams, Irvine's niece, at (850) 294-4393 to arrange for pick-up. Plan on coming out and finding some great items, as you assist the Irvine family with their financial burden.
