Betty McCall Olive, 79, died Saturday, March 14, at her home in Madison.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 17, at Beggs Funeral Home, Madison Chapel with burial at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Madison. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
She was born in Live Oak, Fl. on December 6, 1935 and moved to Madison in 1970. She was owner and operator of Badcock and More for 44 years before retiring in April 2014. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
She is survived by two sons: Terry and Larry Olive, of Madison: one daughter, Dianne Olive, of Madison; one brother, Curtis McCall, of Brunswick, Ga.; two sisters: Myrtice Gay, of Dowling Park and Lessie V. Parker, of Sylvester, Ga.; five grandchildren: Renee Miller (John Nathan), Cheri Olive (Janine), Steven Olive (Stephanie), Stephanie Brown (Mike) and Bryson Olive; three great-grandchildren: Peyton and Kate Miller and Braelyn Brown.
She was predeceased in death by her husband, Thurman Ray “T.R.” Olive in 2000.
