Betty Sue “Jackie” Williams, 83, passed away on March 17 in Madison.
Jackie was born April 10, 1932 in Scanlon, Fl. to her late parents, Jessie Smith and Ruby Pridgeon Smith.
Jackie was a member of the Lee United Methodist Church. She worked as the assistant to the Tax Collector for over 30 years. She loved traveling, camping and quilting. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jackie was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Bobby Williams.
Williams is survived by her children, Dale Williams (Melinda), Jan McHargue (Steve) and Laura Williams; grandchildren, Rob Williams (Denee), Bryan McHargue (Jamie), Chris McHargue (Laurie), Brandon and Alexandra Oxendine; five great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were held Sunday, March 20 at 3 p.m. at Lee United Methodist Church with Steve McHargue officiating. Interment services followed in Stonewall Cemetery. Friends may sign the online guest book at www.joepburnsfuneralhomes.com.
