Beverly Fletcher Watts, 41, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2020 in Valdosta, Ga. Beverly was born on Sept. 5, 1979 in Valdosta, Ga. to her parents, David Fletcher and Peggy Davis Fletcher.
Beverly was a member of the Madison Church of God, where she was very active. She worked as a dietary manager at Lake Park of Madison. Beverly graduated from the University of Florida as a dietitian. She enjoyed cooking for many churches, schools and the International Gedions. She was a devoted wife and mother. She served as a mother and mentor to many children in the community.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Peggy Davis Fletcher; her paternal grandparents, Arthur and Junita Fletcher; and her maternal grandparents, Gus and Nancy (Deal) Davis.
Beverly is survived by her husband of 16 years, Terrance Watts; and sons: Terrance Watts, Jr., Noah Watts, Immauel Watts and Devin Spalding; she is also survived by her father, David Fletcher; and her sister, Stephanie Cobb (Bobby); Brother-in-laws: Earl (Janette) Murray and Carl Murray (Carol); Sister-in-law, Juanita Hampton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Madison Church of God Family Life Center on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2020 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the New Zion Baptist Cemetery in Greenville Fla. There will be a visitation on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Burns Funeral Home Madison Chapel. Donations may be made to the Youth Groups at the Madison Church of God. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Madison.
