A time to be born: On Dec. 10, 1959 a beautiful bouncing baby girl was born to the late Harold Sr., and Edith Royal Bryson in the “City Beautiful,” Orlando in Orange Count, Fla. Beverly attended the public schools in Orange County, graduating from Evans High School, “Pioneers.” At an early age, she was taught about the Lord and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior.
A time to celebrate: Celebration of life services, with COVID-19 restrictions, will be held at 12 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 10, 2021, in the chapel of Postell’s Mortuary, 811 North Powers Dr., in Orlando, Fla. A public viewing and visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, in the chapel of Postell’s Mortuary.
A time to love: Beverly loved life and until her health failed, she lived it to the fullest. She loved being around family, traveling, Gospel Quartet Concerts and attending church, always acknowledging the Lord in worship with her hands lifted and her mouth filled with praise. She sang in the various Choirs of the Church and assisted with the Young People’s Division (YPD). She met Mr. David Roberts and to this union one child was born. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, confidant and friend. Her grandchildren were her world of joy and she loved them unconditionally; Beverly loved her nieces and nephews all the same.
A time to labor: Beverly’s career began and she was employed by Orange County Schools Transportation Department for over 27 years. She Retired in 2018 after driving God’s precious creations (children to and from school) daily. She served with pride and had love for those she greeted each day.
Beverly was raised and joined New Bethel AME Church along with her parents who were some of the pioneers of the church along with her siblings. She loved going to church, even after her health began to fail, she would still come to worship, pray and glorify God. She enjoyed being in the fellowship with the believers here at New Bethel.
A time to mourn/celebrate life: On Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, God dispatched an angel from heaven to come down and release Beverly from all this world’s cares.
