National Healthcare Decisions Day is Thursday, April 16, and Big Bend Hospice will promote efforts throughout the community, aimed at educating and increasing dialogue about advance care planning. Coffee and Conversation: Understanding the Concept of Securing Your Wishes for End of Life Care, will be held in Madison County on Monday, April 20, from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Madison Big Bend Hospice office, 225 SW Smith Street. The Coffee and Conversation event will serve as an opportunity for people throughout the community to causally gather in a private setting and learn about advance care planning with local skilled facilitators. Also, another Coffee and Conversation event will be held in Perry on Wednesday, April 22, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the Taylor county Big Bend Hospice office, 216 W. Main Street.
