Birdsong Peanuts manager speaks to Rotary Club

Leah Androski reporter@greenepublishing.com On Wednesday, March 13, Birdsong Peanuts manager Brooks Garland spoke to the Madison Rotary Club.  Garland discussed how Birdsong Peanuts operates, how they manage their crops and how much land they rent. Garland mentioned that 20 percent of Birdsong’s peanuts were their own. They buy up to 40 to 50,000 tons of peanuts from various growers.
