The Madison County Chamber of Commerce hosted its third Business After Hours event on Tuesday, July 19, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Capital City Bank. Business After Hours is the Chamber’s new monthly business networking event.
Approximately 30 people gathered at Capital City Bank to enjoy fellowship, business networking and lots of good food. All attendees enjoyed a variety of food such as grapes, pineapples, watermelon, chips and dip, lemonade and much more. After some food and fellowship, Capital City Bank drew for three door prizes that went to three of the evening’s attendees.
Business After Hours is a popular social and networking event offered in a casual, comfortable atmosphere. These events will be held monthly at different office locations. Guests will be able to mix and mingle; eat and drink; and take a walk-about or guided tour of the business facility. It’s an opportunity for Chamber members to form relationships, which strengthen community bonds. This new adventure will be held on the third Tuesday of each month, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at a different Chamber member’s office.
The Tuesday, August 16, Chamber Business After Hours will be held at the Madison Country Club, located at 445 Country Club Road, in Madison. Refreshments will be served, and door prizes will be given.
Business After Hours events are free and open to the public, especially to Chamber members.
“People do business with people they know,” reiterates Chamber Executive Director Lisa Frieman.
The once-a-month Business After Hours mixers allow fellow business owners, and the community at large, to get to know each other better and become more familiar with what Madison’s small businesses have to offer in a fun-filled atmosphere designed to encourage networking and interaction while enjoying tasty food and drink. Come on out to meet and fellowship with other Madison County business folks.
