TOSPT (Tallahassee Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy) has been helping patients recover from a variety of issues for over 30 years. Their Madison located at 257 SW Dade St., was established 13 years ago, and remains one of the premier physical therapy clinics in the area. TOSPT treats stroke-related injuries, orthopedic issues, post-surgical recovery, joint replacements, and a variety of worker's compensation injuries. Their state-of-the-art facility is staffed by a highly qualified team of professionals who are committed to providing comprehensive and results-driven care.
The clinic is lead by Doctor of Physical Therapy Kristin Campbell. Dr. Campbell is a Madison local. She graduated from Madison County High School and North Florida Community College, received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science from Florida State University, and received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Florida A&M University. Bringing years of experience working in acute care, outpatient clinics, and an extended care facility is Physical Therapy Assistant Michelle Jones. She holds an Associate Degree in Allied Health from Darton College in Albany, Ga., and is dual-licensed in both Florida and Georgia. Office Manager Glinda Stall is the first face most patients see when they walk into the clinic. Exercise Technicians Erika Hunter and Whitney Stevens complete the highly qualified team, assisting patients with their scheduled recovery techniques.
TOSPT accepts most major insurance, including, among others, Blue Cross Blue Shield, TRICARE, United Healthcare, Medicare, and Humana. They also offer special out-of-network rates. TOSPT has a very unique and interesting program called PTplus, a voluntary exercise program that helps patients improve cardio-vascular and overall level of function in a safe and supervised environment. It is similar to a gym membership, but with certified professionals available at all times to answer questions and give guidance on appropriate techniques.
TOSPT is currently taking new patients, with appointment times available Mondays and Wednesdays, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. They can be reached by calling (850) 973-3316.
