Just in time to prepare for Easter, Mother’s Day, spring weddings and graduations.
Rhonda Griffin Fine Art is the booth to visit to find that perfect piece of art to adorn your walls. You can find bright colorful paintings of some of South Georgia’s prize commodities including cotton, peanuts, watermelon and peaches. Rhonda’s 3-dimensional sand dollar paintings can bring new life to any beach home or beach themed room.
If you want to add a new birdhouse to your garden then first time Calico crafters, Allison and Jeff Lawrence have something for you. The Lawrence’s whimsical birdhouses are functional and fun. But what makes them unique is they are all made from clay. Lawrence Pottery also offers handmade bird feeders, bowls and mugs.
Returning this spring is one of our most popular and fun crafters, LaSean Spencer from Opelika and owner of Puppet Play. LaSean’s bright, colorful and cute handmade puppets will make any child or adult feel like a true puppeteer. Her fun characters remind visitors of some of Jim Henson’s original creations. The Moultrie-Colquitt County Humane society will also be on site adopting out furry “furever” friends all day Saturday.
Come visit the 2017 Calico Arts and Crafts Show on Saturday, Mar. 18 and Sunday, Mar. 19.
