On Friday, May 19, Captain Jarrod Lauth from the Madison County Sheriff's Office graduated from the Florida Sheriff's Association's Commander's Academy after completing a two-week course alongside 33 other Sheriff's Office employees from around the state. The course included various lessons regarding several topics that are vital to Sheriff's Offices. Themes followed along the lines of leadership, ethics and discipline. Their class also raised over $32,250 for the Florida Sheriff's Youth Ranches. With this academy under his belt, Lauth is fluent in various aspects of upper-level law enforcement.
