Board of County Commissioners Contributor
On Wednesday, May 25, the Board of County Commissioners of Madison County signed a proclamation declaring that Monday, June 6, through Friday, June 10, to be “Code Enforcement Officers Week.” The board made this decision with numerous facts being presented.
Code Enforcement Officers are often overlooked and left thankless. They provide services to the community daily by encouraging safety, health, and welfare, while also enforcing county ordinances. They play a critical role in improving the community and their work often goes unseen and unheard, despite their demanding work and dedication to the job. Furthermore, these individuals are highly trained and take their jobs very seriously. They are department rooted in pride and dedication to their communities.
For the above reasons, the Florida Association of Code Enforcement (F.A.C.E.) has declared the first week of June to be set aside to honor, thank and recognize the valiant efforts and dedication of Florida’s code enforcement officers.
Commissioner Alston Kelly acknowledged that Gloria Randall does an outstanding job and has been helpful to him numerous times. She has been outstanding, and the board members agreed.
So, spread some appreciation to the local Madison County Code Enforcement Officer, Gloria Randall, who has served the community in her current position since 2005.
