Chick Chain winners announced

Madison County Extension Agent Beth Moore  Contributor Thirty-five 4-H members and 48 laying hens from four counties converged on the Madison County Agricultural Center on Thursday, Oct. 19, for the Fifth Annual Quad-County Chick Chain Show. 4-H participants ages five to 18 from Lafayette, Madison, Suwannee, and Taylor counties began the Chick Chain project back in April. Beginning with at least six day-old chicks, each child raised the chicks to be full grown laying hens and brought thei
