Chili helps charity

Rick Patrick  rick@greenepublishing.com On Saturday, Feb. 24, a chili cook-off was held at the Madison RV and Golf Resort, with the proceeds going to benefit the newly formed Madison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Charity Fund. Once the tip jars were emptied, the entry fees tallied, tickets counted and an extra donation kicked in from the resort, a grand total of $2,500 was raised for the fund.
