Christine Deen Williams

Christine Deen Williams, age 83 of Lee, Fla. passed away on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020 at Madison County Memorial Hospital under the care of Big Bend Hospice, Tallahassee. Christine was born on January 25, 1937 in Baxley, Ga. to the late George and Lillian Pickern Deen. Christine was married to the late Jack Williams for 49 years until his death in May of 2001. She was a wonderful homemaker, wife and mother all of her life. Christine was of the Baptist faith. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She is survived by her children: Sue Rye, of Lee, Linda Blair (Ricky), of Pinetta, Elizabeth Hammock (Wendell), of Pinetta, Patricia Kemp of Pinetta, Jackie Williams, of Madison, Lee Williams (Cindy), of Madison and Jason Williams (Kimberly) of Madison; one brother, George A. Deen Jr., of Jacksonville, Fla.; 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great children. Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Williams; and daughter, Kathy Sullivan. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2020 at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Lee. Family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church Youth Program or Big Bend Hospice.
