Calling all pastors and business leaders! There will be a prayer breakfast at the Madison Church of God at 9 a.m. to bless businesses and attract new businesses in Madison County. Breakfast is free. Middle Florida Baptist Association Music Festival to be held at Cherry Lake First Baptist Church at 5 p.m. All churches within the association are invited to perform a musical selection. There will be testimonies, prayers and, of course, a lot of good singing. If your church is planning to perform, please contact the MFBA office at (850) 973-8607 or Mary Santerfeit at (386) 294-1721 so you can be placed on the schedule. All are invited to attend and enjoy an evening of music!

Sirmans Baptist Church will be hosting a benefit sing at 5:30 p.m., featuring the local Southern Gospel group, Life Song. All proceeds of the benefit will go to fund a missions trip that Pastor Jimmy Fletcher will be attending later in the year. SBC is located at 168 SW Sirmans Church Way.

Craig Culbreth is scheduled to speak at the Middle Florida Baptist Association office at 7:30 p.m. Each member of the Executive Committee is encouraged to attend. He will be speaking about options for reconstruction and necessary changes that need to be made while the Director of Missions position is vacant. These options will also help the association become a stronger and more efficient organization.

Compassion for the Hurting conference to be held at MFBA office from 6-8 p.m. A light supper will be served. The conference is led By Marc Johnston and is designed for lay volunteers who serve in various ministries such as hunger, thrift stores and medical/dental clinics. Spiritual care/evangelism training helps the volunteer to connect with the people whom they are ministering. Beginning at 10 a.m., there will be a pulled pork dinner and raffle on the Madison Court House lawn to raise funds for the Goins family. 100 percent of the proceeds will go to the family. Meals come with a pulled pork sandwich, chips, dessert and a bottled water. They are only $6. Make sure you come out, support a worthy cause, eat some barbeque and maybe win a prize or two.
