Churches join together to honor Rev. David Delaughter

On Sunday, May 24, there will be an appreciation ceremony in honor of Reverend David F. Delaughter at 3 p.m., hosted by Damascus Missionary Baptist Church, located at 185 SW Smith St. in Madison. Rev. Charles Evans, of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church will be the guest speaker. Damascus and Mt. Zion seek to honor Delaughter for his many years of service in the church, as well as the community. He will be presented with a special award by his son, Don Delaughter. Make sure you come out and honor a man whom many consider extraordinary.
