With the recent signing of the Governor's stay-at-home order on Wednesday, April 1, the City of Madison is announcing a number of changes to their operations while continuing to do "everything possible to deliver service to our citizens," city manager Jerome Wyche states.
Effective Monday, April 6, the administrative department of city hall will be closed to the public as personnel will be working from home indefinitely. However, employees will be on rotation, available to answer your phone calls at anytime between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at (850) 973-5081.
As the 30-day stay-at-home order will be in effect through Thursday, April 30, utility department employees will respond to emergencies Monday through Friday, with on-call coverage throughout the weekend.Because city hall is closed to the public, citizens are asked to pay their utility bills online by visiting www.cityofmadisonfl.com or by utilizing the depository box located on the east side of city hall. Envelopes will be provided for your convenience.
Should you have difficulty with a utility, Wyche welcomes you to contact him at (850) 464-8850.
