Comet T-Atlas visits Madison

Tschinshan-Atlas (T-Atlas) a newly discovered comet, was visible throughout the western sky from Saturday, Oct. 12, through Wednesday, Oct. 23, gracing us with its presence.
It moves at a speed of 180,610 miles per hour, for several thousand years. At that pace, the comet will take approximately 80,000 years to circle the Sun.
