Madison Church of God is selling homemade fruit cakes this season. One pound of fruit cake sells for the low price of $10, and a two pound fruit cake is on sale for $18. Five pound fruit cakes are on sale for $35. The last baking will be on Thursday, December 3. All proceeds from the fruit cake sale will go towards the Ronnie Weeks Family Life Center.
North Florida Community College will be hosting Automation and Production Technology Program 3D Design and Printing Workshop on Thursday, December 3 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. The workshop will be held at the NFCC Career and Technical Center (Bldg. 13) in the Automation and Production Lab (rm. 211). The Lee Community Volunteer Fire Department will be holding its annual Boot Drive on Saturday, December 5 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the intersection of US Highway 90 and County Road 255 in Lee.
There will be a holiday gospel explosion held on Saturday, Dec. 5 at 6 p.m. at Greater Community Baptist Church for Zoey Taylor, who has been diagnosed with liver cancer. For more information, please call Jacqueline Williams at (850) 929-9950.
Light Up Madison will be held Saturday, December 5 beginning at 6 p.m. along SW Range Street with the lighting of Christmas trees in downtown Madison. Festivities at Four Freedoms Park will follow this event.

Mt. Olive Baptist Church will be having a special performance by Lifesong on Sunday, December 6 during the morning worship service at 11 a.m., with a meal and fellowship following. Everyone is invited to attend. Mt. Olive Baptist Church is located at 5022 South State Road 53.
