Members of the Madison County Board of County Commissioners, along with local forest industry members, after the council passed a proclamation proclaiming the week of Sunday, Oct. 16 through Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, as “Working Forests Week.” This proclamation was passed during the Wednesday, Oct. 12 meeting of the board of county commissioners to recognize the great economic impact that working forests have on Madison County and surrounding area of North Florida.
