Cowboy honored as scholar athlete

Rick Patrick  rick@greenepublishing.com Madison County High School (MCHS) Cowboy senior offensive lineman Jaylin Cooks was recently honored by WCTV as their “Scholar Athlete of the Week.” Cooks is currently dual enrolled at MCHS and North Florida College and has an impressive 4.5 grade point average.  “He’s not just a leader on the field, he doesn’t want [his teammates] to just succeed on the field, he wants them to succeed in the classroom as well,” said MCHS Head Footbal
