Cowgirls win season opener

Rick Patrick  rick@greenepublishing.com The Madison County High School (MCHS) Cowgirls varsity softball team began their 2024 season on a winning note, defeating the visiting Lady Trojans of Lincoln High School, from Tallahassee, 7-2, on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Cowgirl field.  The Cowgirls were the first to put numbers on the scoreboard, with one run in the bottom of the first inning.
