Mr. Coye Franklin Webb, 72, passed away peacefully at his home in Lee, Fla., surrounded by his family and friends, on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022.
Coye Frank was born Aug. 1, 1950, in Madison, Fla., to John Clifford Webb and Ina Littleton Webb. He was a 1968 graduate of Madison High School, where he was a member of the FFA. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Midway Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and held several offices. Coye Frank was the founder and owner/operator of C.F. Webb and Sons Logging, which has been in operation since 1986. He was a member of the Madison Masonic Lodge #11 for 40 years, a charter member of the Madison County Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation, a charter member of the Southeastern Wood Producers Association, where he served on the board, a member of the National Rifle Association, Gideons International, Florida Forestry Association, an honorary lifetime member of the Florida Sheriffs Association and a longstanding supporter of the North Florida Livestock Show and Sale. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family, the outdoors, deer hunting and camping. His pride and joy was his three sons, his five grandchildren, and his business. He thought of his business as “fun and not work.” He was preceded in death by: his parents, Clifford Webb and Ina Webb Moore; and a brother-in-law, Tom Fico.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judy D. Webb; three sons: Lin Webb, and wife Shannon; Marc Webb, and Shawn Webb, and his wife Jessica, all of Lee; two sisters, Joeann Wiggins, and husband Dave, of Pensacola, Fla. and Nita Fico, of Madison; a brother, John C. Webb, and wife Marlene, of Lee; five grandchildren: Blake, Gracie, Olivia, Addison and Leah; Buddy, his therapy cat; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2022, at Midway Baptist Church in Lee with Rev. Matt Thompson and Rev. Richard Brookins officiating. Interment followed at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 at Burns Funeral Home of Madison, and one hour prior to the service on Sunday at Midway Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideons International. All arrangements were under the care of Burns Funeral Home of Madison.
