Crystal Pickels Bish

Crystal Pickels Bish. 61, passed away on Aug. 5, 2021 in Gainesville, Fla. Cris was born Sept. 23, 1959 in Madison to Jack D. Pickels and Simmie Lou Andrews Pickels.
She was of the Baptist faith and was a member of New Home Baptist Church. She lived in Valdosta, Ga. for 22 years then returned to Madison County in 2017. Cris worked as a Case Manager with the Senior Citizens Council of Madison for a brief lime. Prior to that she was a Retail Manager with Winn Dixie, Food Lion, Lance and Michael's. She enjoyed baking cakes, crafting and "retail therapy'' in her spare time.
Cris was preceded in death by her father, Jack D. Pickels; her grandparents, Joe and Agnes Pickels; and Sim and Robbie Andrews.
Cris is survived by her children, Brian Bish and Aubri Munoz (Richard); her mother, Simmie Pickels; her 2 brothers, Stan Pickels (Beverly) and Howard Pickels (Donna); her grandchildren: Laney, Jackson and Balyn; her great-grandchild, Jasper; as a well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at New Home Baptist Church, in Madison on Sunday, Aug. 8 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Christopher Roth officiating. Interment followed at the San Pedro Cemetery, in Madison.
