On Sunday, Oct. 17, 2021, Debra DeVane Turner passed away at the Margaret Z. Dozier House, of Big Bend Hospice, after a brief battle with cancer.
At her request, no services will be held.
Debra was born April 23, 1955, in Monticello, Fla. She attended Jefferson County High School and graduated in 1973. She lived in Madison with her husband of fourteen years, James Oliver Turner. She is also survived by a daughter, Michele Boatwright Boland (Michael), of Wacissa; a son, Matt Boatwright (Michelle), of Monticello; step-son, Quinton Turner, of Madison; four grandchildren: Cailin and Michael Boland, of Wacissa; Mackenzie Boatwright and Savannah Welch, of Monticello; one brother, Robert Neal DeVane (Sherry), of Barnesville, Ga.; nephew, Robert Henry DeVane (Rebecca); nieces, Jeannie DeVane Roberts (Jeremy) and Megan DeVane Weston (Ryan); several great nieces and nephews; cousins; and her beloved cat, Thumper.
Debra is preceded in death by her parents, Bobby Therod DeVane and Jeanette Chason DeVane.
