On Monday, Mar. 27, there will be a blood drive at Madison County Memorial Hospital from 1:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. All blood types are needed. It only takes a few minutes and it could save a life. In fact, because donated blood is broken down into several components such as plasma, red cells, and platelets; one blood donation can save as many as three lives.
