Donate coats for flood victims by Oct. 10

Laura Young news@greenepublishing.com Storm victims who have lost everything in North Carolina are facing cold weather soon. A local effort to provide coats for them is underway, and donations are needed by Thursday, Oct. 10, to be included in the shipment being planned. Amanda Page has made arrangements with Pastor Wayne Stafford, of Pilgrims Way Baptist Church in Rutherfordton, N.C., who will receive the donated coats and distribute them to those in need in the storm-ravaged area.
