St. Mary's Episcopal will hold a special Palm Sunday service at 9:30 a.m., which will begin with the Liturgy of the Palms outside the church before processing into the sanctuary for Holy Communion. St. Vincent de Paul will be holding special Good Friday services throughout the day. The Stations of the Cross devotional is at 3 p.m. A special mass is at 5:30 p.m., and Tenebrae Service (The gradual extinguishing of candles while a series of readings and psalms are chanted or recited) will take place at 7 p.m. St. Vincent de Paul is located at 186 Northeast Sumter Street, Madison. St. Mary's Episcopal will hold a Good Friday service at 5:30 p.m. St. Mary's Episcopal is located at 140 Northeast Horry Avenue, Madison. Greenville United Methodist Church is joining with Allen Chapel AME Church to host a Good Friday Fellowship Service, with dinner beginning at 6 p.m. and worship at 7 p.m. The service will be held at Allen Chapel AME Church, 142 N Grand St, Greenville.
April 4
Greenville Baptist Church is hosting a community-wide Easter egg hunt at the Greenville Haffye Hays Park from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Aside from the hunt, there will be horseback rides, games, prizes, bounce houses and food, free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. There will be a Passion play at Madison Church of God at 6 p.m. Make sure you come out for a spectacular performance.
