Together again-- all those who enjoy an old fashioned church service and a scrumptious dinner underneath graceful oak trees! The occasion is otherwise known as Ebenezer Homecoming; set for Saturday May 30- Sunday, May 31. The historic church, lit by gas lamps, will ring with the old gospel songs on Saturday evening, May 30, from 7 p.m. until people get tired of singing. Sunday morning, May 31, worship will begin at 11 a.m., with singing, a repent on the beautiful Ebenezer Cemetery and a sermon by the Reverend Cherryl Register, pastor of Greenville and Cherry Lake United Methodist Churches. Board President, George Pridgeon, invites everyone to join the crowd. Bring a lawn chair! To find Ebenezer, go north from Madison on S.R. 53, turn left on Highway 146 (Little Cat Road) and left again, about eight miles further, on to Bob White Road. Follow the signs to the old country church.
