Della Webb is a lifelong Madison County resident and a loving mother to six feline fur babies. When COVID wasn't a factor, she enjoyed spending her free time involved in theatre productions, attending theme parks and searching for new thrills.
Webb, an academic advisor at North Florida College (NFC), has been working in higher education for about 10 years. While attending NFC, she became a student aide and fell in love with helping people. After her graduation, she began working for student services and eventually, she became an academic advisor. Webb now teaches an academic success class, in addition to her advisement work. Her class covers crucial topics such as strategies for academic success, and stresses the importance of mental and physical health, as well as financial planning.
One of the many morals that Webb lives by is transparency. “I believe in trying to be as authentic and transparent as possible,” said Webb. “You never know what someone's experience is and when you let them know your truth, that can help them open up and feel more comfortable.” Webb has worked with dedication and passion for several years and hopes to continue helping people along their academic journeys.
