Erma J. Williams, 79, passed away on Monday, Feb. 8, 2021, in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
She was born on March 6, 1941, in Tipton, Ind. Erma lived in Muncie and Farmland, Ind. until moving to Lee, Fla. in 1982.
Erma worked at Merchants National Bank until moving to Farmland, then Lee, where she became a homemaker and farm wife. She loved sewing, crafts and working outdoors and was frequently seen working in her garden and mowing the yard. Erma was a member of Lee First Baptist Church and TOPS. She was devoted to her family and friends and all will miss her kind heart and spirit greatly.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Ralph; son, Michael Hershberger; and parents, Ralph and Irene Watson. Erma is survived by her children:, Julie (Tim) Brumley, of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Lori (Donnie) Jackson of Denver, Colo. and Troy (Cathy) Hershberger, of Muncie, Ind.; step-children: Kevin (Beth) Williams, of Farmland, Ind., Annette (Wayne) Miller, of Winchester, Ind. and Linda Bales, of Coaldale, Colo.; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Harold (Susan) Watson, of Farmland, Ind.; sister, Donna Horn, of Houston, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.
A private viewing will be held on Saturday, Feb. 20, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel, with graveside services and burial to follow at Valley Grove Cemetery, Milton, Ind.
