Mrs. Eva Mae Diamond, age 83, died Tuesday, January 20, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 24, at the Madison Church of God. Pastor Jason Justus and Rev. Doyle Glass officiated. Interment followed in the Oak Ridge Cemetery, Madison. She was born in Madison where she was a life long resident. She was a member of the Madison Church of God and retired from Madison County School System. She was survived by five sons: John P. Diamond (Chris) of Prattville, Ala.; Wayne Diamond (Janet), of Madison; Clyde Diamond (Patty), of Quitman, Ga.; Ray Diamond (Kelly), of Valdosta, Ga.; and Mike Diamond (Cynthia) of Lake Park, Ga.; two daughters: Pat D. Williams (Butch), of Dixie, Ga. and Linda D Carter (Chris), of Spring, Texas; three brothers: William Shaw (Clemmie), of Lynn Haven, Fl.; T. J. Shaw (Marjorie), of Lake City, Fl.; and John Shaw (Marie) of Jackson, Ga.; two sisters: Louise Herring, of Madison and Betty Deloach, of Valdosta, Ga.; 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
