The Florida Highway Patrol has released the name of the pedestrian found deceased on Thursday, June 11 at 5:35 a.m., on Interstate 10 near mile marker 261. The pedestrian is Christopher A. Adams, 50, from Metairie, Louisiana. According to the FHP report on June 11, a 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe was found parked and running in the westbound emergency lane of I-10 on June 11. Adams was found deceased lying on the ground in front of the vehicle. The injuries are consistent with a motor vehicle crash. The crash is still under investigation. Trooper W.E. Harrell is the crash investigator and Corporal Carlton Yarborough is the homicide investigator.
