The first grade students at Aucilla Christian Academy went on a field trip to the Gulf Specimen Marine Lab in Panacea on Friday, April 7. They learned about the many different types of sea life at the aquarium.
Students were able to hold sea pansies, sea pork, starfish, different types of crabs, and many other interesting creatures. Sharks, stingrays, octopus, and seahorses were all a part of the students’ learning experience.
After a tour of the aquarium, the students traveled to Wooley Park for lunch and to enjoy the beautiful weather.
