Flora Mae Dunlap Linton, age 81, died peacefully at home in Crawfordville with her family on Friday, March 18. She was born June 25, 1934 to Carl and Pearl Dunlap. She grew up in Madison and moved to Tallahassee in October, 1951 when she married her husband, Hubert Linton.
She was a mother, homemaker and bookkeeper for her husband’s company, Linton Pump Service. Linton is survived by her husband of 64 and a half years, Hubert Linton; their sons, Randy Linton (of Tallahassee) and Richard Linton (of Trenton, Sc.); her sisters, Grace Simmons (of Plant City, Fl.) and Gwen (Ronnie) Combass (of Madison); two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Linton is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Pearl Dunlap; brother, Fred Dunlap; sister-in-law, Louise Dunlap and brother-in-law, Amos Simmons.
